Berkshire Botanical Garden in Stockbridge is offering an upcoming program on Saturday, April 26 titled “Top 40 Plants for the Naturalistic Garden.” Plantsman Robert Clyde Anderson will share his best recommendations for the more natural style of planting, popularized by the “Dutch Wave” and New York City’s High Line. The three-hour session will include an illustrated lecture, handouts, a garden walkabout, and Q&A time. The cost is $50 for members and $70 for nonmembers. In Monson, the Monson Garden Club is offering two $500 scholarships for high school seniors interested in studying life, natural, or environmental sciences at a 2- or 4-year college. Applications are due by April 29, 2025 and can be obtained through school guidance offices.
The Wilbraham Garden Club will be hosting a meeting on May 1 at St. Cecelia’s Parish Center featuring speaker Rebecca Sadlowski of Rooted Flowers in Agawam.
