A man was arrested for threatening to bomb the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, claiming he had a bomb in his Tesla. Police located the man and arrested him, but no weapons or explosives were found in his possession or vehicle. The man, identified as Davis Darvish, remains in custody with bail set at $1 million. Cathedral City police are investigating Darvish’s activities related to his contact with a nearby casino. As of April 13, no charges have been filed against him.
