After spending over 35 years coaching girls and boys hockey, widely-respected Notre Dame Academy of Hingham head coach John Findley has announced his retirement. Findley, 63, spent the last eight years leading the NDA Cougar girls team, reaching the state finals twice but falling short of a title. Despite the lack of a championship, Findley posted a successful record of 104-40-16 in seasons with a state tournament. Findley, who previously assisted at schools like BC High and Duxbury, expressed that what he will miss most is the girls he coached.
