Berkshire Botanical Garden in Stockbridge has several upcoming programs for gardening enthusiasts. On Saturday, March 22, Monique Bosch will be leading a workshop on brewing aerated compost tea to promote healthy soil and resilient plants. Later that day, there will be a Spring Equinox Meditation Walk led by Sandrine Harris to celebrate the changing season. Both programs are open to members and non-members for a fee. In West Springfield, the Garden Club will be hosting a meeting on March 20 featuring a presentation on Zen Gardening by club member Patti Bessette. Meanwhile, the Western Mass Master Gardner Association is offering a Spring Gardening Workshop in Westfield on March 29. In addition, the Wilbraham Garden Club and the Agawam Garden Club are offering scholarships to students pursuing studies in various fields related to gardening and the environment. The West Springfield Garden Club is also offering scholarships for students focusing on horticulture, agriculture, ecology, botany, and more. The Springfield Garden Club is accepting applications for their annual scholarship for students majoring in plant science or environmental studies.
