Vicki Saengkheune, a 36-year-old resident of Leominster, Massachusetts, is gearing up to run the Boston Marathon with a purpose. She is running to benefit the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center’s Radiation and Oncology Capital Project, aiming to support the expansion and enhancement of cancer treatment services. As a clinical pharmacist at Beth Israel Lahey Health, Saengkheune understands the importance of providing compassionate patient care and integrating advanced technology to deliver innovative treatments.
Motivated by her three children and the desire to instill in them values of resilience and compassion, Saengkheune sees the marathon as an opportunity to turn challenges into hope. She acknowledges the impact of cancer on the lives of many individuals, including close family members and friends, and aims to honor their strength and courage through her run.
