Colorado Democrats secure Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren as keynote speaker for annual fundraising dinner ahead of 2026 elections

U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren to Deliver Keynote Address at Colorado Democratic Party Fundraiser

Progressive U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren is set to headline the Colorado Democratic Party’s annual fundraising dinner in May at the 8th annual Obama Gala. Known for her work on consumer protection, Warren is eager to join Colorado Democrats in fighting for working people and holding the current administration accountable in the upcoming midterm elections.

The event, held on May 31 at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, will feature ticket prices ranging from $225 to $10,000 for a table. Colorado Democratic Party Chair Shad Murib expressed excitement and honor in having Warren as the event’s keynote speaker, highlighting her dedication to championing working families, combatting corruption, and standing up to corporations.

Notably, the Colorado Republicans have announced Steve Bannon as the keynote speaker for their annual Centennial Dinner in March, showcasing the polarized political landscape in the state leading up to the midterms. The relocation of the Democratic fundraiser to May aims to avoid a spring blizzard and ensure legislators are not occupied late into the night at the State Capitol.

Previous speakers at the event have included U.S. Senator Cory Booker and a range of Democratic leaders from across the country. The decision to invite Warren further solidifies the party’s commitment to fighting for the values of working people and building a more equitable country for all.
