Thirteen Allied Health students were recognized at Westfield Technical Academy’s 18th annual CNA pinning ceremony on Feb. 14 for earning their certificates as certified nursing assistants. The seniors honored were Rebecca Barlow, Christopher Ethier, Connor Gendron, Emma Gillis, Angela Gustafson, Caitlyn Hall, Emma Lilly, Jiani Rijos, Mackenzie Roberts, Lucas Stefanik, Melanie Szczepanek, and Nayleisha Williams. David Sarmiento-Bermejo was unable to attend the ceremony.
While all of the students have achieved their CNA certifications, their future goals in the health profession vary. Some may choose to continue their education in nursing or other healthcare fields, while others may pursue different paths within the healthcare industry. The students were applauded for their dedication and hard work in completing their CNA training.
