In other games, East Bridgewater beat Holliston 55-50, Franklin edged New Bedford 61-58, and Xaverian defeated Natick 57-40. Andover’s coach Dave Fazio reached 550 career wins with a 58-49 victory over Cambridge.

In girls basketball, Carver emerged victorious over Bellingham 60-39, while Burlington defeated Malden 61-51 and North Quincy triumphed over King Philip 37-30. Sandwich secured a win against Pembroke 62-59 with Maddie Lawrence reaching her 1,000th point milestone.

In boys hockey, Whitman-Hanson topped Silver Lake 2-1 in overtime, Melrose shut out Lexington 2-0, and Scituate defeated Wachusett 6-3. In girls hockey, Archbishop Williams edged Arlington 2-1 in overtime, Duxbury beat St. Mary’s 2-1, and Bishop Feehan dominated Barnstable 12-1.

Weston claimed the Division 5 boys state track championship with notable performances from Jacob Kasanov, Noah Lago, Ben Tavares, and Oscar Torres. North Reading won the Division 5 girls state track title with standout performances from Giuliana Ligor and Callie MacLellan.
