Railers win against Americans in shootout while on the road


The Worcester Railers HC secured a thrilling 4-3 shootout victory over the Allen Americans in front of a crowd of 5,880 at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, TX. The Americans took an early 2-0 lead in the first period with both goals scored by Kamerin Nault. The Railers fought back in the second period with goals from Tyler Kobryn and Ryan Dickinson to tie the game at 3-3, forcing overtime. After a scoreless OT, Connor Welsh scored the game-winning goal in the shootout to seal the victory for Worcester.

Despite being outshot by Allen, Worcester managed to come out on top with Michael Bullion making 32 saves in goal. Three stars of the game were awarded to Connor Welsh, Kamerin Nault, and Jordan Kaplan for their outstanding performances. The Railers are now 3-1-0-0 all-time against the Americans and maintain a perfect record at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center. They will face off against Allen again on Sunday, February 16th.
