Boston police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of 20-year-old Fisher College student, Taylor Wilkinson. The incident occurred last month in Roxbury, where officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. Wilkinson was found with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to them at the hospital. After an investigation, Christopher Baker, 36, was identified as the suspect and was apprehended near 100 Belvidere St. Baker faces multiple charges including motor vehicle homicide, manslaughter, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and leaving the scene. Wilkinson was pursuing a degree in management with a concentration in fashion marketing at Fisher College. The community mourns the loss of a promising young student and seeks justice for her untimely death. Baker is scheduled to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court to face the charges brought against him.
