Boston Bruins CEO Charlie Jacobs has been named to the USA Hockey Foundation Board of Directors, bringing his experience in sports management and philanthropy to the organization. Jacobs, who also founded the Boston Bruins Foundation, has helped raise over $67 million to support children and families in the community. In a statement, Jacobs expressed his excitement to work alongside others who are passionate about hockey and further the advancement of the sport nationwide. With his extensive experience, Jacobs will play a key role in supporting grassroots hockey development, player safety initiatives, and increasing access to the game for all. Jacobs took over as CEO of Delaware North, the group that owns the Bruins and TD Garden, in 2015. This latest endeavor adds to his already impressive hockey résumé and solidifies his commitment to growing the sport both locally and nationally.
