Report: Worcester Students face court over alleged TikTok scandal


Six Assumption University students appeared in court on Thursday in connection to their involvement in a confrontation with a falsely accused sexual predator. The incident took place in October 2024 when the victim was lured to the campus and chased by a group of people who accused him of being a pedophile. Approximately 25 individuals chased him to his car and he was punched in the back of the head before he left and contacted the police. The students involved in the incident were identified as Kelsy Brainard, Kevin Carroll, Easton Randall, Isabella Trudeau, Joaquin Smith, and one juvenile whose identity and charges were not released due to their age.

Brainard, Carroll, and Randall were charged with kidnapping and conspiracy, while Carroll was also charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Trudeau and Smith were charged with kidnapping and conspiracy as well. The full report on the incident can be found on WWLP. The victim reported the incident to the police which led to the identification and arrest of the students involved. The charges against them are serious and they will have to face the legal consequences of their actions. Assumption University has not released a statement regarding the incident or the students involved. The court proceedings will continue as the case progresses.
