ESPN recently released its list of the Top 50 NFL free agents, which includes players that the New England Patriots could potentially target in the offseason. Three players on the list have been linked to the Patriots by ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler: Eagles edge rusher Josh Sweat, Falcons center Drew Dalman, and Rams tackle Alaric Jackson. Sweat, the highest-ranked player of the group, could provide much-needed help to the Patriots’ pass rush, as they finished last in sacks this season. Dalman and Jackson also make sense as potential additions to the offensive line, with Dalman being the top center on the market. As the Patriots navigate uncertainties at the center position with David Andrews recovering from shoulder surgery, these free agents could offer valuable support.
With the Patriots also needing improvements at the tackle positions, Jackson could be a potential fit due to his experience in Los Angeles. As the offseason approaches, the Patriots will be looking to bolster their roster with key additions to address their various needs on both sides of the ball.
