The upcoming NFL coaching cycle will showcase a talented pool of candidates

Six-time Super Bowl winning coach Bill Belichick has made waves in the NFL coaching cycle by interviewing for the University of North Carolina’s coaching vacancy. As the coaching carousel begins to turn, many well-known names like Mike Vrabel, Pete Carroll, and Robert Saleh, as well as up-and-coming coordinators, are expected to be top candidates.

Among the young offensive-minded coaches drawing interest are Ben Johnson, Liam Cohen, Joe Brady, and Kellen Moore, while defensive coordinators like Aaron Glenn, Anthony Weaver, and Jesse Minter are also on teams’ radars. Former head coaches turned coordinators like Steve Spagnuolo, Arthur Smith, and Brian Flores could also be in the mix for head coaching positions.

Additionally, potential college coaches who may make the jump to the NFL include Marcus Freeman from Notre Dame and Lincoln Riley from USC. Despite Riley’s denial of interest in leaving Oklahoma, surprises are always possible in the coaching carousel.

Teams like the Jets, Saints, and Bears have already fired their coaches, with more changes expected. Belichick’s name looms large in the coaching market, with speculation around potential fits like the Giants or Eagles. As the cycle progresses, young talents like Johnson and Minter may also get their chance to lead NFL teams to success. The coaching carousel is in full swing, and the next head coaches in the NFL are sure to bring new strategies and energy to the league.
