Teenage Boy Accused of Shooting Woman in South Boston

A teenage boy was arrested after allegedly shooting a woman in South Boston on Tuesday night. The incident occurred near 8 Reverend Burke Street around 8:06 p.m., with the victim being taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Youth Violence Strike Force located and apprehended the 15-year-old near North Point Drive and Westwind Road. The teenager, whose identity remains undisclosed due to being a minor, faces multiple charges including assault and battery with a gun, assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a gun without a license, and shooting a gun within 500 feet of a home.
