Trump had nominated Bondi for the role of U.S. Attorney General, but this specific claim regarding investigating Pelosi’s finances is not true. Bondi, a former Florida attorney general, represented Trump in his first impeachment trial and supported his presidential campaign, but there are no credible reports of her making such a statement.
