Dedham High School senior AJ Pinet is gearing up for his final high school football game on Thanksgiving Day. Pinet, a top running back in the state, has had an impressive career, rushing for 5,467 yards and 16 touchdowns this season alone. Despite battling injuries, Pinet has refused to relent and has been a key player in Dedham’s success.
Pinet, known for his exceptional skills on the field and off, has received college looks from local Div. 2 and 3 schools. Dedham coach Mike Cloutier praises Pinet’s character and work ethic, noting his potential to excel in any path he chooses in the future.
With one final game against archrival Norwood on the horizon, Pinet hopes to close out his high school career with a victory. His dedication to the game and his team has made him a standout player and a role model for his peers.
