Stoughton Police Department confirmed that an Amber Alert for three children who were taken by their mother has been successfully canceled after they were found safe in Boston. The children, who are all under the age of 10, were with their mother, Ashley Vazquez, 29, of Stoughton. They were believed to be traveling in a gray Toyota RAV4.
The Massachusetts State Police issued the Amber Alert around 9:30 p.m. on Friday as authorities searched for the children. Thanks to geolocation technology, officers were able to track the vehicle, leading them to find the three children in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood at approximately 10:30 p.m. The Stoughton Police Department expressed relief at the safe recovery of the children and thanked the community for their assistance in locating them.
This incident highlights the importance of quick action and collaboration between law enforcement and the public in ensuring the safety of missing children.
