Four men being considered by Donald Trump for his administration in a second term have been accused of sexual misconduct. These men include former Rep. Matt Gaetz, Fox News host Pete Hegseth, former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and tech billionaire Elon Musk. Trump himself has faced accusations of sexual misconduct by 19 women, with a federal jury finding him liable for sexual abuse of writer E. Jean Carroll nearly three decades ago. Trump has denied wrongdoing and is appealing the verdict in Carroll’s civil case.
Despite these allegations, Trump has largely ignored them when announcing his planned cabinet nominations. Matt Gaetz, who is being considered for attorney general, has faced allegations of sexual misconduct, including paying women for sex and being involved with a 17-year-old. Pete Hegseth, Trump’s pick for secretary of defense, has settled a sexual assault claim with an accuser. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has apologized to a former nanny he allegedly groped. Elon Musk, who has been tapped for a position in a proposed Department of Government Efficiency, has faced allegations of sexual misconduct, including settling a $250,000 claim of misconduct by a flight attendant.
Despite these allegations, all four men deny any wrongdoing, with Gaetz’s spokesman calling the accusations baseless attempts to derail a potential second Trump administration. The investigations and accusations against these individuals are ongoing, and there are differing opinions on whether the reports should be made public.
