The team responded with back-to-back wins against Providence and New Hampshire, improving their record to 5-1.
The Eagles took an early lead in the first quarter and continued to build on it, heading into halftime with a 32-18 advantage over the Wildcats. Andrea Daley contributed 12 points, while Athena Tomlinson and JaKayla Thompson combined for 18 points to support Waggoner’s strong performance.
Boston College’s bench outscored New Hampshire’s, 40-18, and the team capitalized on turnovers, scoring 22 points off them. They also capitalized in the paint, scoring 46 points there along with 11 second-chance points. This performance led to the Eagles’ second consecutive victory.
In a losing effort, Eva DeChent recorded 12 points for the Wildcats, while Belen Morales Lopez added nine points. Despite their efforts, New Hampshire was unable to overcome Boston College’s dominion in the game.
