‘British Airways Flights Experience Lengthy Delays Due to Technical Issues’

A technical problem has caused hours-long delays on British Airways flights, affecting the communications systems on Monday evening. Flights were grounded due to an IT issue, causing delays of 1-2 hours on many flights. Travel journalist Simon Calder predicted cancellations into Tuesday morning. However, a Heathrow spokesperson confirmed that the issue had been resolved, and flights were now operating with delays as the airline worked to resolve the technical problem.
