A 23-year-old man named Christian Radetich-Hallman from Newfane, New York was arrested for allegedly beating two puppies to death in upstate New York. The incident occurred on Thursday, Oct. 24, when troopers responded to reports of animal cruelty at a residence in the town. Upon investigation, it was found that Radetich-Hallman had allegedly beaten a 4-month-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and a 3-month-old Australian Shepard to death. One of the dogs was found inside a trash can while the other was found elsewhere in the house.
Radetich-Hallman was arrested on Tuesday on two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and two counts of criminal tampering with physical evidence. The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Niagara County SPCA, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, and the New York State Parole. As of now, there is no information on whether Radetich-Hallman has a lawyer representing him.
