On the girls side, Blue Hills defeated Old Colony 6-0, Braintree shut out Plymouth North 1-0, and Waltham edged out Burlington 2-1. Mashpee dominated Sturgis East with a 6-0 victory, while Mansfield secured the Hockomock League Davenport Division title with a 3-0 win over Canton. In girls volleyball, Greater New Bedford claimed the state vocational championship with a 3-1 victory over Blackstone Valley, thanks to strong performances from players like Elle McCormack and Avery Santos.
