Former New England Patriots first-round pick N’Keal Harry finds himself once again looking for a team after being released by the Minnesota Vikings on Monday. Harry, who signed with the Vikings in August 2023, did not play in a game this season due to injuries to star receiver Justin Jefferson.
During his time with the Patriots, Harry struggled with injuries and ultimately did not reach the end of his rookie contract as the team declined his fifth-year option. After a brief stint with the Chicago Bears in 2022, Harry signed with the Vikings in August 2023 and attempted a position change from wide receiver to tight end.
Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell expressed excitement about Harry’s position change, but unfortunately, Harry did not get the opportunity to showcase his skills in a game. Following his release, the Vikings announced the signing of former Patriots linebacker Calvin Munson to their practice squad.
Harry’s future in the NFL is uncertain, as it is unclear if any teams will show interest in adding him to their roster. However, he is determined to continue his career elsewhere and prove himself in the league. It remains to be seen where Harry will land next as he looks to make an impact in the NFL.
