Man from Greenfield facing charges for hit-and-run incident that left 2 pedestrians injured

A Greenfield man, Vladimir Sinigur, was arrested for allegedly injuring two pedestrians in a hit-and-run incident and fleeing the scene. The incident occurred on Country Club Road near Barton Road, where the pedestrians suffered serious injuries and were taken to Baystate Medical Center. Sinigur, 55, is facing multiple charges, including two counts of hit-and-run with personal injury, one count of hit-and-run with property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

This is not Sinigur’s first encounter with the law regarding motor vehicle charges. He appeared in Greenfield District Court earlier this month for charges filed in September, which included driving an uninsured vehicle, a civil motor vehicle infraction, and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

The Greenfield Police responded promptly to the incident and apprehended Sinigur, ensuring that justice is served for the injured pedestrians. The case highlights the importance of responsible and lawful driving practices on the roads to prevent such accidents from occurring. Sinigur’s actions have resulted in serious consequences, and he will now face the legal repercussions for his alleged hit-and-run incident. The community will be closely following the developments in this case as it progresses through the legal system.
