Linda Bennett of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, has defied the odds and shown incredible determination in the face of adversity. Diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2004, she fought the disease with optimism and perseverance, eventually becoming cancer-free after nearly four years of treatment.

However, in 2007, Bennett faced another challenge when she was diagnosed with ALS. Despite the devastating news, she vowed to fight the disease with all her might. Seventeen and a half years later, she is still battling ALS and is believed to be the longest female survivor of the disease in the state.
