A tragic two-vehicle crash in Uxbridge on Saturday evening resulted in the death of one driver and left another driver hospitalized. Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early Jr.’s office confirmed the incident, which occurred around 11 p.m. on Quaker Highway.
Upon arriving at the scene, Uxbridge police closed off a section of Quaker Highway between Aldrich Street and Ironstone Road, informing the public via Facebook of the road closure due to a “major crash with injuries.” The community was urged to avoid the area as authorities worked to investigate the crash and attend to the victims.
