Orange, MA – Calling all garlic lovers! The North Quabbin Garlic and Arts Festival is back on September 28-29, featuring a wide array of garlic-infused dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. From garlic chocolate chip cookies to bacon garlic Crab Rangoon, there is something for everyone at this unique festival.
Attendees can explore over 100 booths, participate in garlic games, including a raw garlic-eating contest, and enjoy free art-making activities in the designated tent. The festival is proud to be mostly trash free, generating only three bags of waste for about 8,000 people. The majority of waste is recycled or composted, and free water is provided to all attendees.
Tickets for the festival are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free for children under 12. Each food vendor incorporates at least one locally grown product, with garlic being a staple ingredient in every dish. Some of the featured vendors include Batch Ice Cream, Bueno y Sano, and Mycoterra Farm.
From maple cotton candy to coconut rice and peas, the festival offers a diverse selection of garlic-inspired cuisines. Vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free options are also available, ensuring that everyone can find something delicious to enjoy.
