Reality TV star KeKe Jabbar’s cause of death has been revealed as carbon monoxide poisoning. The star of OWN’s “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” passed away at the age of 42, leaving behind her husband, three children, and parents. The autopsy report obtained by TMZ showed that Jabbar had a high level of carboxyhemoglobin in her blood, indicating carbon monoxide poisoning as the main cause of death. Additionally, a toxicology report revealed the presence of oxycodone and oxymorphone in her system at the time of her passing.
Jabbar’s death was announced on July 2 by blogger Marcella Speaks, who read a statement on behalf of the family during a YouTube livestream. The statement described Jabbar as a beloved mother, sister, and friend full of life, love, and laughter. The family requested privacy during their time of grief.
The reality show “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” follows three couples investing in real estate in Alabama. Jabbar’s absence from social media since May hinted at her low profile, while her previous post celebrated her eldest son’s high school graduation. Apart from being a reality TV star, Jabbar was also a writer, editor, and professor. The popular show has run for 8 seasons on OWN, attracting a strong following. The unexpected death of Jabbar has left fans and loved ones in shock, highlighting the fragility of life despite outward success and lifestyle.
