Multiple churches in Springfield and surrounding areas are hosting a variety of events for their communities. The thrift shop at St. Gregory Armenian Church is open on Saturdays, offering bargain prices for shoppers. The First Congregational Church of Sunderland also has a Serendipity Shop open on Saturdays, featuring items for sale.

Immaculate Conception Church in Indian Orchard will be hosting a Polish plate dinner on September 7th, along with a frozen Polish food sale and raffles. Foster Memorial Church will hold an Indoor/Outdoor Craft Fair on the same day, with a variety of crafts for sale and a gift basket raffle.
