Colorado conservative activist Joe Oltmann is facing financial penalties for failing to provide evidence of his claims of election rigging. He owes a former Dominion Voting Systems employee $1,000 a day until he complies with the court’s orders. Oltmann made accusations in 2020 about Dominion and Antifa involvement in election fraud but has yet to provide any evidence. He left a deposition in June and has been noncompliant with court orders. Apart from fines, he also faces costly legal fees. Oltmann is a conservative podcaster and activist involved in “Stop the Steal” campaigns and protests against election results. He has been sued by the Dominion employee, Eric Coomer, as well as other political figures for defamation. Oltmann’s actions have been criticized by the court, which noted his refusal to comply with orders and his inflammatory statements on his podcast. His involvement in fringe political activities has led to legal troubles and financial penalties.
