On the political front, nearly a third of Ukrainians would consider territorial concessions to Russia for a quick end to the war, while a court in Moscow convicted a Russian journalist in absentia for distributing false information about the Russian army.
In terms of military progress, Zelenskyy announced advancements in Ukraine’s missile programme, stating they are moving towards using their own missiles. Additionally, the US Treasury Department ordered banks to disclose holdings of Russian assets to aid the Ukrainian economy.
Overall, the situation remains tense and fluid, with ongoing fighting, diplomatic efforts, political challenges, and military advancements shaping the conflict. The international community continues to monitor the situation closely as the war shows no signs of abating.
