One notable case handled by Levy’s office was the arrest of three individuals operating a high-end brothel ring catering to wealthy clients, including elected officials and military officers. While the case did not involve human trafficking, it highlighted the exploitation of women in the sex trade industry. Levy also mentioned the office’s involvement in a grand jury investigation related to a police cover-up in the death of a Boston police officer.
Levy refrained from commenting on ongoing cases, citing the need to respect the confidentiality of grand jury proceedings. Despite the challenges, Levy remains focused on his mission to uphold the law and prosecute those who engage in criminal activities. He highlighted the office’s achievements in combating human trafficking and emphasized the importance of protecting vulnerable individuals from exploitation.
